Those of you who know my story, know I moved from Santa Monica, CA to Palm Springs, CA in late July of this year. Anddddd, have been eagerly awaiting an apartment tour (yes Mom, it’s finally here)! I’m going to say the thing that everyone always says, but only because it’s true ⏤ there are a few things I am still looking to update and finalize, but for the most part, my studio apartment is company-ready. So come on in and don’t be shy, have a look around! I’ve taken the liberty to include links to shop my items and make them your own! Please enjoy my California studio apartment tour 😊

Living area
This is where I spend soooo much of my time. It gets such great light on both sides and I just love the layout ⏤ the space is only about 450 square feet, but feels airy and spacious. My Santa Monica studio was about the same square footage, but didn’t feel as big! I really lucked out with this one 🤩 I love a good brick wall, even though it makes finding wall art a bit of a challenge. So I brought back my quote wall which was an oldie, but a goodie, from my apartment back in Philadelphia, PA.
Armchairs
- The original chairs (pictured above) are unfortunately no longer available.
- I’ve linked something similar here as inspiration
Area rug
- I love this rug so much! It’s made in India and does a great job of cozying up my space.
Nesting side tables
- These make great side tables and were so easy to install
- These tables are so versatile, I use them to record quite a bit (almost all) of my DIY videos
Sleeping area
You may be wondering, “Hmmmm, where is this girl sleeping at night?” 🤔 Welp, watch the video (linked above) if you want to see how it goes down. But everything is linked below as well!
Cabinet bed
- The profile of this cabinet bed made it an easy choice for me — most people don’t realize there’s a bed in there!
- It really frees up so much space in my small space and keeps the aesthetic modern and minimal
Round mirror
- This piece is so versatile — I’ve used it in my entry way in other apartments, but here it sits elegantly above my cabinet bed
- So simple and classic, it works for many interior styles
Marble tray
- A great place to hold keys at an entry way, or bathroom essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste and cotton swabs
- I love that this piece is actual marble, and you really feel the weight and authenticity of it
Bathroom
I couldn’t get enough of the living room area quote wall, so I had to extend it into the bathroom. Sometimes you just need some reading material, and what better than some positive words of wisdom? My fiddle leaf fig tree used to be in the living room (and was a single plant a short time ago), but Jerry and Elaine ended up being happier here since the bathroom gets such good light and is more humid, thanks to my handy dandy humidifier (linked below). I also keep my DIY Baby Butt wipes handy just in case! They are super easy to make and are linked here and below as well 😉
Work nook
I’ve got to be honest, I rarely actually work in my work nook. Mostly because facing a wall is a bit of a drag, but I thought it was such a smart built-in of the apartment. I’m just glad that my chair fits the space if I ever feel the need to hunker down.
