I’ve always liked the idea of wet wipes, but hated that they created more waste 😞 I even made myself some butt wipes. And bidets seemed the most eco-friendly, but a bit too bougie lol. This toilet paper foam spray is the perfect in-between solution. It’s good for the environment and it’s good for your tush. Trust me, you need this toilet paper foam spray in your life.

Just made it today as soon as my supplies came in!!!
How big of a container is the foam dispenser?
8 ounces. You can click through the view exact one I used.
I clean houses. I saw a bottle in all 3 bathrooms. Asked the home owner what’s up. They weren’t labeled. She said her husband came across a video, bought supplies & mixed it up. Asked if I tried it. Nope! Didn’t know what it was. She told me to go try it. Perfect for my daughter! She was born with Spina bifida and needs extra cleaning down below ya know. She loves lavender! Yeah, I had to ask for recipe after I tried it!
Oh wow, thank you so much for your feedback! So glad it’s helping 🙂
Are the essential oils actually essential? I’m not really big on scents and was wondering if I could make this without them.
You can leave essential oils out if you like. Certain essential oils have cleansing properties which enhance the recipe, you can leave them out if you’re not a fan.
What is the shelf life for this 8oz concoction, please?
2 weeks. If you are refrigerating in between uses, maybe 4!
I’ve actually been using mine for almost 3 months (no refrigeration) and it’s still stable ( I made a double recipe to last a while for my family and it’s still going strong)! 🙂
Could I use a gentle body wash in place of the Castile soap?
Why is there a shelf life?
Does the dispenser tend to clog?
The soap doesn’t need rinsed off?
Everything has a shelf life. I have not had any issues with a clogged dispenser. To be safe, you could rinse the nozzle between uses, but I have never found the need!
I’ve been using this recipe for years; I don’t add any oils so I use Dr. Bronners lavender-scented liquid soap. The only issue I’ve had is the aloe tends to clump at the bottom of the bottle, but it doesn’t seem to affect the foam. Thanks for this recipe!
