How to make
- Get your mixing bowl and non-metal spoon and get ready to add:
- 1 tsp of Bentonite clay
- Next, 1/2 tsp of Activated charcoal
- Followed by 5 drops of your favorite essential oils. I used 2 drops of Blue tansy, 2 drops of Roman chamomile and 1 drop of Helichrysum
- And finally, 1 tbsp of Aloe vera gel
- Now, mix well to combine until it forms a paste
- All done!
Ways to use
- Carefully apply to the face, being cautious around the eye area
- Let it sit for 15-30 minutes, or until you can feel it starting to dry out. It will start to get itchy too! This is your cue to get ready to wash it off
- Rinse gently with water until the water runs clear
- Then, follow up with a good facial cleanser and moisturizer. My current favs are linked here and here
- Repeat weekly for best results
- This recipe is enough for two applications (unless you have a large face)
- Refrigerate or freeze any leftovers and use up as soon as possible
