In light of the new normal, where Purell is selling for $348 a pop, I figured this would help the rest of us out a bit. Purell is great in a pinch, but making DIY Hand Sanitizer gel is super easy and a heck of a lot cheaper. Plus, once you buy these ingredients once, you can make and re-make this recipe enough to out-live this annoying strain of coronavirus. Promise 🤞🏾scouts honor. P.S., hand sani is great and all, but the best preventative measure is still just washing your hands. Hopefully I am not the first to unleash this knowledge on you. So, if you are in need of a couple hand soap DIYs, my goodness have you come to the right place. You can find my two current favs here and here. And, if for some reason you can’t be bothered with the hand washing, but prefer a hand sanitizer spray instead, I still got you. And also, eww, gross.

- I’ve made us of a plastic travel squeeze bottle. If you don’t have anything similar handy, you can order what I’ve linked here
- I try to repurpose old bottle and containers for my DIY products as an easy way to be more eco-friendly. Reusing reduces what hits landfills or requires recycling. It’s a win-win!
How to make
- Remove the cap on your air-tight container and get ready to add:
- 1/4 cup of Aloe vera gel (or a little bit less depending on the size of your container)
